We all have different shapes and sizes of feet. Some of us have tiny feet while others have long broad ones. Some feet are narrow while others are wide. Generally the shoes that are available in the market are of a standard size that fit people with regular feet. But those who have wider and larger feet find it very difficult to find a good fitting shoe. Even the shoes that are made for their kind of feet have limited number of styles and designs leaving them with very little choice. So they do the next best thing, squeeze their feet into regular, standard size shoes.
Wide Fitting Shoes
Not only is this extremely uncomfortable for their feet, it also causes cramps, calluses, blisters, foot pain, bunions and other forms of foot problems. Not many people are aware that one of the major reasons of any kind of discomfort or foot problem is wearing improper size of shoes. They also ruin the wearer’s posture, gait and balance, causing them to trip and fall over repeatedly. Shoes are meant to provide comfort to our feet while we walk, run or participate in any other form of physical activity. If the primary purpose of the shoes is not fulfilled then not only are they a waste of money but they might even end up doing more harm than good to your feet.
